Our founder, Captain Hector Herrera, has spent his life working in the hospitality industry of South Florida. His career began in coffee & liquor shops, moved into the restaurant and hotel sector bringing him to where he is today - the original Miami Beach Jet Ski Tour owner-operator. His dedication to excellence in customer service has carried him to the head of his specialized field.

Hector pioneered the concept of jet ski tours in the South Beach area in 1994 (with Super Jet Bikes of Miami).  His operation was situated on the beach, behind Penrod's, at the foot of Ocean Drive. 

In 1999, Hector re-branded his original concept by creating Hector's Watersports, Inc., and has been successfully operating his professionally guided jet ski tour service. In 2017, Hector launched a new website JetSkiTours.Miami and is continually looking to the future with fun new products and tours! In 2020, Captain Hector expanded his operation with a location in beautiful Key Largo.

Hector has developed a niche for premium service sought after by local residents, international tourists and high profile clients, such as many NHL, NFL, NBA & MLB players as well as other tennis and Hollywood stars.  A large number of these become repeat customers. 

Hector has developed a first rate reputation for delivering quality customer service and  has cultivated top-notch relationships with several high-end hotels that refer guests on a regular basis.
